Myself and Mike "USMC_GY" made a return trip to the Hill Country and fished both Boerne Lake and the Cibolo Creek that runs through the Boerne City Park. We literally got blown off the lake fishing the docks and bank, due to the high wind. We could barely cast out our baits. We managed a couple of Bass along with two small Bluegill. We then went to the City Park and fished the back waters of the Cibolo Creek. The bite was on fire. The fish were full of energy due to a good shot of fresh water from some recent rains. We caught over 50 fish which included some very fat Redbreast,Bluegill,Bass,Longear, and Rios. We caught one Trophy Rio that was 9"even. All fish were caught using worms. Both drop shot and bottom techniques were used. All fish were released to fight again. After a great day of Hill Country Fishing we had a FANTASTIC lunch at Richter's Antler Cafe located on FM 46 in the Hill Country City of Bulverde. A great time in the Texas Hill Country. It just don't get any better. fish

Antler Cafe is always good! Chicken Fried Steak and the jalapeno macaroni and cheese! I live in Cordillera and would love to come out with y'all. There is a small pond/park in cordillera ranch that holds some nice bass if you would like to try that place!

Took my wife to CNC once last year, she came home with poison ivy and we seen some snakes. She won't let me take the kids there anymore. Lol, we were the ones who went all in the thick stuff but she got the ivy. About ready to go hit it again. Got worms last night, maybe tomarrow???
