 Great fish, even better story

The day started out slow, catching a few small fish out of the boat when all of a sudden I hook into this beast. She was pulling drag like you wouldn't believe, taking me up and down the channel numerous times. She flopped out of the water once and I could tell it was a great fish. Right as I thought I was going to get her in, she took one more deep dive and buried herself in thick hydrilla. I was by myself at this time and made the decision that I wasn't going to lose this fish so I dropped anchor and shedded the clothes. Fishing pole in one hand and doggy-paddling with the other, I managed to make it to hydrilla and with a couple of good pulls she broke free and I wrapped her in a bear hug while trying to stay above the water and swim to the shore. Luckily my friend was already on his way and was going to join me. He was in for a surprise when he showed up. Notice how I'm still in boxers taking the pic. Great memory that I will never forget

Great fish! Awesome story! Your right, you won't forget it. Reminds me of when Mike Iconelli Jumped out of his boat to get a fish in.
