Yeah, she's pretty too. Was looking to order another 6" Punker and went to their site, stripers are eating it up at Diamond Valley Lake over here right now. Found a new video, look at how cool the explosion is on the lure, and how well it works. It's with an acquaintance/Delta guide and pro Bobby Barrack using it over on the Delta. (In the end that 40 pounder hitting it is unreal, have you diapers clean!).

I'm throwing the punker on a Dobyns 795SBMT. I was having trouble getting it to walk with a wide slash using 20 - 25lb mono. Switched to 65lb braid with a 20lb mono leader - and I can make the 6" wood punker walk 2' side to side. It's sick grin

I use a uni-to-uni knot and about a 5' leader to start the day with. I've tried a blood knot before but I can tie 10 uni's quicker than I can tie a blood knot smile

Otay, my Punker was finally forwarded to me...I thought sure it was lost. But, as even the plastic one is pretty expensive, I tied it on a special rod with 30 lb mono. I still get upset to remember your wooden one being lost. However, mine just won't hunt with the 30 lb mono....I suppose if I want it to 'walk' I'm going to have to use lighter line....what do you think? I'll never forget how well your wooden one worked....I just refuse to pay that much for a single bait....funny when you could inventory my boat and find thousands of dollars worth of tackle. I just spent $95 to get a bunch of Lateral Shads....now I'm thinking they are just not very popular and I've stowed them in a closet....I wish I had two wooden Punkers with that $95!
