As a matter of fact there was a picture in the video/picture forum a year or two ago with a baby gator hooked on a lure. I want to say he caught it on a topwater but I really cannot remember.

it was a ribbit

Thats what I thought....I just didn't know if I remembered correctly.

One of the gators that can't live in our northern climate swam up to my boat at Squaw Creek the other day and just floated there looking at me for 20 minutes...waiting for me to fall overboard I think!

Well if he'll take pictures of dead drum that baked in his livewell all day then surely he got picture of the gator.

Maybe some of yall dont know what a gator looks like and thats why yall havent seen one. After all some of yall thought that Drum was a Bass! rolfmao

There ARE Gators in Ray Hubbard! There was even a video of one on Fox news a few years ago around the Rush Creek area. But if some of the Ray Hubbard "pros" havent seen them then I guess they dont exist. rolleyes

Well, Hubbard Jesus, you tell me the time and ramp and I'll let you show me a few of the Hubbard gator(s). Better yet, why don't you offer guided gator tours? I'm sure there's lots of people wiling to pay some good $$ to see them.

Not saying I can find them that easy......just sayin they are there. I have been on Ray Hubbard since I was old enough to hold a fishin rod and have only seen two. Been to Fork plenty of times and never seen one. That doesnt mean that everyone on Fork is lying though.

Heck for years I heard about the pigs up north but never saw one untill last year.....but have seen them many times since. But if you havent seen them then those probably dont exist either! rolfmao

I've seen plenty of pigs. Not saying that there isn't an alligator in Hubbard. Just saying that I've never seen one. And that statement is echoed by a LOT of guys that have spent a lot of time on Hubbard and especially the north end.

Jerry, I wouldn't pay anything. I've fished all over the southeastern US. I've seen plenty.

Just see all these people saying that there are gator(s) in Hubbard and no one can give a location or recent photo. I know about the one at the golf course but unfortunately it died.

I never said it was impossible. The "for" the gators side of things make the the statement that there are gators in Hubbard as if they inhabit hubbard like at choke canyon, ok I get the point about the few occaissional gators. The point I am trying to make is that there are not gators as in a reproducing every day everglades fashion and I will argue that to the end. All you have to do is open your eyes up North there are nutria ever 5 feet its the China of Nutria land. If they reproduced they would be as common as turtles until they ate every nutria in site. I have been in at least every square acre North of 66 on the East side and west side I have been in every single creek until you cannot go any further at full pool and have never seen signs of inhabitation or a live gator. I am not argueing whether anyone has seen them I am just saying that those are pets released and that gators are not in any way a naturally reproducing part of the eco system.

How much will you pay? [/quote]

I'll give you $50, but if you don't show me a gator, then you give me $50.

OKAY,we can agree they occur all over this area ofthe U.S..By all credible sources their range includes this area.Photos and videos of gators in the wild are known to be authentic. This area is not the optimum place for them to inhabit although they are sometimes seen here.Their population is very small and is so small it is not known how many may be in the North Texas area.

Now can't we all just get along?
