I have seen a gator at Rayburn. Bass, how do you explain all the sightings and killings. JCB posted here he saw a four footer last year. I know him and I believe him.

It's the end opposite of the dam.

I've been to Fork quite a few times, too. Never seen a sign of them there, either. I'm not saying they don't exist. I'm saying that it would require a perfect storm for them to survive for more than a summer. The cold is what determines where they go. Ever notice that you don't see the really big reptiles of any kind in cold climates?
There are definantly gators on fork. I have pics to attest to that too. They aren't giants but there are some 6 footers. And to say Rayburn doesn't have them is absurd. I've only been there 5 times since i've moved to Nac and have seen one 3 out of those 5 trips. There are gators all over the red river in louisiana, where my mom's side of the family lives, but their climate is not much different than ours at all. Your cold weather theory is true to a certian extent but to say that the top half of east texas has no gators or make a statement anywhere near that is inaccurate.

I can see that point too.But there is a lot of area you can't see from a boat up there.Maybe we need to have a side pot for the first alligator pic in the river.
