I see texascajun is heavy on spinning and toledotee is heavy on baitcasting.....

I would just worry some about the heat on the mono line--anyone had problems with this? My garage feels like it is about 200 deg in the summer.

crawl inside yer rod box next August

I've always been told light, particularly sunlight does the most damage.
If you keep up with your equipment, your line should get replaced before the heat becomes an issue. cheers

I have my extra rods that I really don't use on the rafters in my 2nd garage. My rods that I currently use go in the house on a good rod rack from BPS, that rotates around.
