I didn’t know what to expect… the only grass I pulled up was at different stages of dying from the rising water levels.. it won’t be a Naconiche, that’s for sure. roflmao

lol your gps must not like you.

from jacksonville you go to sulphur springs, west side take 11 to commerce, 50 to ladonia (go straight, watch out on the dirt road for pot holes), second stop sign go left to 34 to honey grove, 82 to 897.

all good road and you get to go over the new bridge at ralph hall.

There is an AirBNB named "Two Lakes Cottage" that we stayed in for a few nights last week that is top notch. It is just off of Lake Bonham, spotless 2/2 seemingly brand new house. Averages out to @ $200/nt when including weekend nights. I have zero affiliation, just throwing it out there.

It actually works out to be 300 per night when you include cleaning and booking fees. Nice place.

We just fished down there for 3 days. For 400 bucks for a month we hauled a 40 foot diesel pusher out to an RV park just north west of the bridge. I think they have one spot left. Great deal and easy.

Sure, why not....... jokes aside, I did not have any weekend nights in my stay, so that might make a difference.
