As soon as the water gets cold at Ivie there will still be more SAL turned in there than any other lake again this season. They will get caught by the guys that are GOOD just like they have for the last x amount of years. Watch. I have no doubt the lake is fishing tough but they will get caught again just like they have in the past.....

For sure you'll still see the bigs. They are also getting much smarter each day. It is definitely becoming a one-bite trophy lake, and not a fish catching lake.

Sad but true

Unfortunately they were all coming anyways. This will just expedite the process. Only good that comes from it are the stores will make their money, and that in itself is a good thing because I can remember when it was locals eating over there and buying up rooms even when they didn’t have to.

I want to see these guys fish a tough lake like Worth or Lewisville. Let's see how good they really are.

A 16 and the water isn’t even cold yet. But then again Dalton is one of those guys I was referring to that’s “good”. He caught them last year and he’s gonna do it again this year.

Bigs will still get caught and posted. What won't be posted are the man hours that go into catching one. You will see the 13-14 pounder, but won't ever hear about the 5 trips in a row where they didn't catch much, or the 350 other guys that got 3 bites in 7 days. As long as there is a chance, people will still continue to flock to the lake. I miss the time when everyone was a deer hunter and we had the lake virtually to ourselves this time of year.
