I did the carnivore diet for about 6 months. Lost almost 30 lbs. The side effects were brutal. Not enough veges or fiber so I was literally pooping rocks when I could get them out. The night sweats from your body working so hard to break down all the meat was uncomfortable. Even with moisture wicking sheets and fans I would wake up soaking with sweat. Cholesterol was through the roof. So I stopped and gained all the weight back and then some.
Now I am starting Keto again, but I have added a lot more veges to my diet and averaging 10,000 steps per day. Down 20 lbs in 3 months and feels healthier.

Ever see a carnivore eat in the wild? They always start out with the stomach and intestines, which are filled with partially digested grasses and grains. Just sayin… thats a great observation
