The technique I'd use in this case would be canister damascus. You put as many hooks as you can get into a can with powdered steel, then forge weld it all into a single piece of steel. You can then use that solid piece in a variety of ways to increase the amount of material. A small handful of hooks would be enough. Any good post-tournament cleanout or pre-tournament crankbait hook change ought to do it. Stillwaters Bass Club Fry Custom Knives

He was catching fish on deep divers, Strike King and DD22's. Partner, now a Congressman running for the Senate in Missouri, arrived with stock crankbaits. While they were waiting to go KVD took all his crankbaits and changed the hooks out to triple grips.
