I have laying hens. Raccoons will walk past easy free food to kill chickens and eat eggs. Which is why I would not be good neighbors with someone who enjoyed the company of raccoons and invited them and their friends over for dinner Then they just eat the head/breast and leave the carcass  . At least the freakin' 'yotes and bobcats take the whole bird .

And thats why I trap (and then kill), or shoot any and every coon that comes into my property.
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.
