Yard full - 09/24/18 02:25 AM

With a few of the big bullies being fed separately in the garage. Notice they all have perfect pelts. In the next 30 days most of them will have their hides torn up from rough foreplay. Noticed this week that they are starting to get frisky.

You could make some hats out of all those grin
We had a couple of them when I was a kid. Key was playing with them every day or they get cranky. Reminds me of my wife in that regard

All have eaten all they want and left an hour ago... except for my favorite.

She stays next to door knowing I'll be out later with the good stuff. She's blind in her other eye... must have gotten scratched in a fight as she has been that way since a baby. Meanest one of them all to all the other raccoons as she can't stand for the others to get close to me. roflmao

She got pizza and grahm crackers tonight.

She comes an hour before dark and mops up on table scraps then walks around sniffing the dog food all the others are eating as if it isn't fit for consumption.

I would be so pissed off if I was your next door neighbor.

Actually, you would probably be pissed, because I would be shooting/ trapping any of them that came into my yard.

No. I can shoot and trap coons, but unless the laws have changed, I don’t think you’re allowed to do the same to members of a snake handling church.

I get along great with the one next door neighbor that I have. He doesn't like that I feed the raccoons and has told me so. His girlfriend is afraid they will hurt her two small yapping dogs. Most of the folks in the neighborhood have dogs and I hear barking in different areas a few blocks away off and on all night long. Just other raccoons, skunks, or stray dogs causing the commotion. Its definitely not the same raccoons that visit me every night. When I finish feeding, I watch them drag their fat azzes back into the woods. Any barking and the raccoons scatter quick. If raccoons are tearing stuff up then folks are leaving food of some kind out. If I feed them enough, they aren't digging my yard up either. My neighbors should be paying me to feed them. roflmao

I have laying hens. Raccoons will walk past easy free food to kill chickens and eat eggs. Which is why I would not be good neighbors with someone who enjoyed the company of raccoons and invited them and their friends over for dinner

And that’s why I trap (and then kill), or shoot any and every coon that comes into my property.
