Those can go and go! I've seen them with big welds on the block still running great! Too small for a baler, can probably move a round bale on the rear, only small ones on a front loader.

Yeah....I take about an hour an acre. I got a lot of singing to do while I'm mowing...and even in rabbit mode, that tractor ain't all that fast.

John Deere, Kubota, Kioti, Mahindra, New Holland are all good Tractors. I would suggest if you are cutting that much grass about 35-40 HP..

That is a great tractor. It�s worth 30k because they hold value very well. If the a/c works, grab it.

I�ve never understood the compact tractor market. Not near worth 30K but that is where the market is! Hobby farmers and wannabes have money to blow I guess.
In my opinion with your horses you plan to get, they will keep it pretty mowed down. I personally would hire someone to come in and Bushog and spray it if need be. Buy a zero turn and off to the races you go. I wouldn�t waste money on a tractor for 9 acres. If you do end up getting a tractor, don�t waste money on a front end loader. With the size you are looking at it will do you zero good. Feed square bales to the horses.

Awesome, not too far from me. Im just north of Ore City. Ive been here two years and love it. Ive got 20 acres but its mostly timber so I just bought an old international with some used implements, about $5k total. That's all I need.

If I were in your shoes, and you are just mowing grass, a zero turn would be my first buy.

The 6 horses would more of a money pit than any tractor you might buy.
