If you're wanting to actually MOW 9 acres, I mean mow it and make it look golf course good, I would get one of these. You offset it on the back of a 60" zero turn and you can cut 10' every pass. Electric start, adjustable height to perfectly match what your zero turn is doing. You would need to have about a 45 or better horsepower tractor to pull a 10 ft brushhog. The pull behind mower is about $2000,,,, you can pull it behind anything, doesn't have to be another mower.
If you do get a tractor, and all the implements you mentioned, build a pole barn and keep everything inside. Get a Kubota, with 9 acres it will last forever and resale great when you decide to get a bigger one because everyone ends up getting a bigger one lol.

OK, I haven't read through this whole thread, just page 1 but here's my assessment. IF you're going to be taking care of more than the 9 acres, and you probably will even if it's wooded I'd say a minimum 30 HP compact. I presently have a Kubota MX5200 ((52HP/45HP PTO). Downside on mine is the diesel exhaust regeneration ... not really a big deal but irritating to me. The Kubota is worth it though as they are the Toyotas of the tractor world ... they're tough, and uber dependable. For sure get the frontend loader with quick detach.

You'll be moving round bales so not sure you can get anything smaller and accomplish that. I'll also say this: we all want bigger and more HP. I've worked a 30HP Kubota with a backhoe and it was good for laying septic and such but not enough reach for a 500 gal tank (but you can rent a big hoe for a day for <$500). I checked on a hoe for my tractor and it was a $8500 add-on and just not worth it to me. In the East Texas I'd say if you want implements get a grapple, gear drive tiller, and mower/bush hog. These are the basics. I also have a grader blade. A hydraulic top member for your 3 point is a plus too.

30 HP should be available for less than $20K or right in that neighborhood with these implements. Kubota generally has attractive financing. I shopped 4 different dealers and saved about $500 so pricing in generally always close. I bought in Livingston, Texas.

If you are ever going to handle round bales or bale hay you will need a good sized tractor. There are a lot of good deals on used tractors out there if you look around, new ones are $$$$$. Stay with a popular brand, easier to get parts for. Good idea to get a brand that can be serviced nearby unless you work on your own or have a big flatbed trailer. And a bigger tractor will do way better than 1 acre/hour....

My neighbor rebuilds them. Does about 1 a month complete with new paint. He's done a few Jubilee's and 9N's. Last time I talked to him about it at the beginning of summer he had done about 45 in the last 6 years. Sells them for around $3K.
