Just curious, but what were some of the best patterns on Roberts this weekend? I fished 2 days and never really got on 3-4 lbers. I like the lake but it had my number this weekend. Just curious what other guys thought.

Primary pattern for me for the last few weeks Chatterbait and/or swim jig around flooded brush. Secondary bite, shallow crank around rock.
Needs to be "steeper" banks closer to "deeper" water. Thus, there can't be a lot of flooded cover for the fish to roam. You want to be able to reach/cast to the bank. That way the fish don't have a lot of places to hide.
They still seem bunched up. I can't just go down the bank or hit every creek or pocket and get bites. I may get 3-6 in one small area (25-50 yards). Then find another similar and get 3-4 more fish. It's been hero or zero and never the same creek or spot from trip to trip.

IDB is a whole lake in it's self, love IDB ! I've never caught a fish in IDB. My wife got hung up in a tree north of the bridge one day. My son also hung up in a tree. Got the son's out. He looked back and said "Mom you may be hung up but there is something on there" 5 pounder.
