CK. According to Parks&Wildlife Redear are native in the eastern half of the State but can be found in other States including Michigan,Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
Parks&Wildlife stated the fish can be found just about in any part of Texas but mainly the eastern areas.
I checked for water body records on the Redear in some of the Dallas waters but could not find any.
I may have missed some.
"Fish 'till I drop": The Little Blanco River is a separate river from the Blanco.
Both Rivers run through Blanco Co. Somewhere in the Northeast corner of Blanco Co. The Little Blanco empties into the Blanco River.
Both Rivers are GREAT to fish.
