Redear Fest on the Little Blanco River! - 04/04/15 07:54 PM
Fished the Littel Blanco River the other day and found a bunch of hungry Redear. Fished from 11:30am till 2:30p.m. and caught over 40 nice Redear. The fish were all in the 8 to 9 inch range.(Perfect eating size). Fish were caught on both live worms and the Berkley Trout Worms-natural color. Fish were in shallow water 2 to 4 feet deep. A float technique was used. Most of the fish were released with the exception of a few which will make it to the dinner table. Rounding out the catch were a couple of nice Bass in the two pound range and a nice Redbreast in the 9 inch range. The water was crystal clear and the river is in great shape. A great afternoon on the Little Blanco River. It just don't get any better.
