Thanks for all the kudos and kind words fellas. After a tough week of pre-fishing Willie and I were simply hoping to catch 7 fish each day, never imagined finishing in the top 10. Grenada is a tough lake and with the water level near summer pool it's a complete different fishery with unlimited amount of 1.5' to 3' of water. Thursday evening a cold front came through dropping the temperature to 38 degrees Friday morning with a 15 mph north wind and Saturday morning it was 34 degrees with a NE wind getting up to 15 mph, which makes spider rigging very difficult. And to top it off, Saturday morning the water temperature dropped 8 to 10 degrees in the area we were fishing. It actually snowed for about 15 minutes Saturday afternoon, unbelievable.
It was a tough week of fishing that turned out better then we could have ever hoped. Again, thanks for all the kind words.

Don't let them Scott boys fool you!
They are that GOOD!
What they did is, on unknown waters, in a different state, figured out and put together a pattern that beat all but 7 teams! Wow!
They kicked some arse!
You know they are thinking, how did those boys from Texas kick our butt, on our home lake! Y'all done good.
Congrats to all the Crappie Anglers of Texas, who made the trip.

Reflections of the week - man, that's a tough lake!! It is a new lake every time we go. The lake levels change constantly and we have never fished the same area for the tournament for the 4 years we've been going there. Last year there was very little water, this year it was 10 foot higher than last year. The weather was good all week up until Thursday night when a cold front came through. Friday was cold and windy. Saturday was colder and it sleeted/snowed on us. Rhonda shivered uncontrollably all day Saturday. We caught eight keepers on Friday and seven on Saturday. It was tough all week!! But man, when you hook a 3 pounder, there is nothing like it!!! We had 3 on Saturday after searching all week for them. A good day to find them!!
Chris and Willie did a great job finding fish and figuring out what to do to catch them!! So happy they caught that 3 pounder on Saturday - think they are hooked now!!
When you are fishing against 107 of the best teams in the nation, it feels really good to bring that check home. I'd put any of our CAT anglers up against these teams!
Now, on to D'Arbonne in April!
NATIONAL OVARIAN CANCER COALITION Team Reeve is fishing to bring awareness to ovarian cancer. This is a silent killer and everyone needs to know that a woman's yearly exam does not diagnose this cancer. If you feel like helping this cause contact me or give to the NOCC/Team Reeve. Also contact me with questions on symptoms!
