I'm wasn't looking for any freebies or anything. Maybe just a little better treatment, the rod should have never been shipped to me in that condition. I call them and they act like it was my fault and like I was bothering them or something.

Might be hard for them to really understand the damage without seeing it first. If they were rude then that's on them.

Ordered many rods and reels from them without any issues.

my only problem with Tackle Warehouse is the dent in my bank account. everything they send has a return label, just turn it around, and they credit your account. I wouldn't take it personal, they just have a very high volume and they don't have time to coddle you. Sounds like they are being very matter of fact and efficient. Send it back, get refund or when they get back in stock they will resend. I think you will be fine.

Just be kind and persistent until you get satisfaction. TW should stand behind it.

How have you been treated, the rep said send it back. Did they curse you, laugh at you, call you name's??? What did they do that made you feel "shocked"????

Eh, TW's always treated me great, and I'm kind of a prick. I've returned a number of things over the years and never had any issues. Shipping rods is just a tricky game. If you're still unhappy, sit down and write them an email. They are internet people, they will get the message better that way, and you will probably express your frustration more eloquently as well.
