Chris,

As with any boat it has its draw backs.

I've owned a Bullet 21XD for the past four years. Much of what has been stated is true. Concerning the ride. Not a better handling boat in flat to 2-3ft chop. Remember the front end is very light. It seems when the waves get over 4ft the bow blows around a little. What I did was shim the top bolts on the jack plate. That helps keep the bow down a little in rough seas. Also the boat has real low free board so when it gets rough you get wet.

As far as fishability it is awesome excluding the seat arrangement on the older models and trying to fish main lake spots when windy. To get to the back compartment you have to raise the seats to get to your stuff. Thats a tough move to make when its windy.. The bottom is tough as nails and i've asked a few fiberglass shops this question.

In all its a fun boat to own. My boat is currently for sale. Call me if you have further questions or concerns. 214 794 8454

Your are right, Gamblers are great boats and handle the chop well. The one I passed last weekend seemed to be handling it pretty well. grin

Will admit gamblers aren't as fast as bullets, but the front deck on them is awesome.

I was amazed when you passed the gambler, that dirt road was very narrow.

Thanks for all the imput guys. I am shopping the 21 XRD right now.
I saw a buddy of mine run one on Falcon this weekend, and was amazed at it in rough water.
Ive been talking to Billy quite a bit about the boat. We will see how it goes.

I bet ProCraft is proud. Looks like you might update your signature while you are at it.

I like the ride of mine better than the TR21 I had before. As far as stress cracks, I have Randy Oldfields old boat that he guided out of and it doesn't have any cracks in it. The live well system is a joke but it is pretty easy to change out. Just go to the Bullet section of Fastbass and there is a thread about changing it out to the Flowrite system. If you see me on Ray Bob, I'll be happy to give you a ride.

Thanks for your input Board Pro, but I think I asked questions about a boat, NOT your NEGATIVE opinions about my signature!
But as you can see, Ive changed it.
