I prefer Hayabusa and Gamakatsu. Owner makes a good hook too.

The four that I use the most are the Owner rigging hook, Owner J hook, Owner screw lock hook and the Gamakatsu round hook with the weed guard for wacky rigging. I have various sizes in each of these hooks.
Owner beast for large swim baits.

Trokar.....requires much less hook setting power. Good for lazy fisherman like myself.

Good write up. I like Owner offset hooks and Trokar Flipping hooks.

Thanks Ken! And I definitely like the angle that the Trokar flipping hooks have, but the point is like a spear! there is a time and place for it no doubt.

Owner and Trokar, but I wish all manufacturers would go to welded eyes.
