Had a BLAST Eric........Hard to believe it had been over a year since we had fished together. As usual, the wind blew twice that of the forecast, so we were limited to where we could fish. Didn't find any huge schools, but we'd pick 3-4 here, 5-6 there.....to end up with a great mess of Slabs! Copper Mine was the best color today

Dad, Mom, and I decided to hit the water today and we ran into Todd Box and Eric about 10 minutes after we got on the water. The wind was definitely not our friend today and as Todd stated limited where you could fish. We ended the day with 27 Keepers and lost another 1/2 dozen at the boat because I did not grab the net fast enough. Lots of small ones all day which made the action part of our day a lot of fun. Getting to feel the thump was a great time for Mom, Dad and myself. Regardless of the final number of keepers I really enjoyed spending the day on the water with my parents. Priceless. When we got back to the ramp there was a couple down visiting from Oklahoma and they were shore fishing with nothing to show for it. We threw our fish in a 52 quart cooler and welcomed them to Texas by giving them our cooler and fish. They were extremely thankful and the lady was a nurse. I love helping out fellow nice folks and anglers. All in All a Great Day!! We got to the ramp just as Todd Box was coming of the lake and The Great One "Captain T-BOX" was nice enough to recommend some more shore fishing places for these nice folks since they did not have a boat.

Nice to see you posting again Mr. Box! nice outing. Yeah, I've been slacking on posting. Been whacking them, limits and double limits most every trip out. The water temp here on Lake Fork has dropped back down to 66-67* and although the fish were in the same locations I had been catching them, they were deeper.
