Got a question for you guys.
I have a Z-190 Skeeter that has factory Jackplate. I fish a lake that is full of stumps and laydown logs, floaters and fish.
I am looking to buy a Lowrance Elite7 Ti with Side and down view, meaning the long(expensive) Transducer.
Is there a place to mount the transducer where it cannot be knocked off or damaged?
I fish lakes all around East Texas, but think I'd like the SideView.
Any Ideas?
Thanks!

The safest place is under the jack plate on a hole-shot plate but it probably won't work above 6-7 MPH. Transducer Shields also makes a kick up plate. Their products are very good.
