Has anyone on here mounted their own set of power poles. My dealer is gonna charge me 800$ to install them and it just doesn't look hard. Any tips from someone who has done it?

just recently installed my second set. easy as pie to do it yourself. i THINK classic fiberglass in denton only charges $100 per pole.

They are very easy. Especially if you have a jack plate to mount them to. I'll install yours for $700.

Lol. Thanks guys! I'm gonna just do it myself. Looks like the brackets just bolt to the side of my Jack plate.

Youtube it. I watched one awhile back of a teenager installing them in his fathers boat. Looked fairly simple and straight forward.

At $100 an hour, that's two guys taking 4 hours to install them. Really? Don't you just love dealers?
