Just to be clear here.. Gas powered motors are not allowed... Trolling motors (electric) ARE allowed? Pedal drives are allowed... Do I have this right?

Im a little skeptical on this event. I have seen only 12 post by you. And according to FB you havent been on a kayak in 10years. Im just curious on what prompts you to start a tournament with no prior kayak tourney knowledge? Im just curious and dont mean to sound negative, but it just strikes me as a bit odd.

Dirtbike fisher that is a very understanding concern. I will be out at south lake tomorrow if you would like to meet up and meet me before hand. I started this simple because there isn't very many kayak only tournament in my area. I use to bass fish in a boat all the time, but I sold my boat in October to pay for a family vacation to Disney World. It was sad but also well worth it. I have now got a kayak because I have a few friends that kayak fish and say it's the only way. You are more then welcome to PM on Facebook and I will send you my number. I don't have anything to hide I even posted were I work on Facebook, I am full time for the Texas Army Nation Guard. I do pay and set up schools and the training calander for the traditional National Guard soldier which is one weekend a month two weeks out of the year normally during the summertime. I deployed to Afghanistan2 years ago and returns a year a go well just over. (Feb 14, 2014 I returned) I hope this help ease your mind but again feel free to PM on Facebook or let's meet up and go fish.

Electric trolling motors are ok to fish with. So a guy could fish from his bass boat and just never use his gas outboard is that correct? Eccentually the same thing. Trolling motors needs to be in there own classification IMO.
