Just curious ... How many teams do you normally have at each event? Your schedule looks really good.

Last year we averaged 8-9 boats per tournament. We would like to see an average of 15 boats per tourny. We have made some small changes to operations and added some new things this year to try and hit our goals. Yes, we have a five fish limit per boat.

Will new teams be able to join in the 7 lb pot since this is the first tournament of the new season? Checked out your schedule for the year and it's awesome. Looking forward to fishing with yall.

Anyone can enter the 7 lb pot if the balance is zero. After that, a new angler must fish one tournament before entering the 7 lb pot.

You can fish solo, the fee would be the same as a team. $50 per boat and $10 for big fish which is optional. This is what I remember from last year as I was going to fish solo. Chris may correct me on this but pretty sure it's correct.

You may fish solo but the entry fee is the same per boat whether one or two anglers are in the boat.

The first tournament of the year is coming up and it's looking like we'll have a great turnout. We've received positive feedback from the TFF and have a few contacts through the new website. Between the new interest and current members, plus some former members expressing interest in a return to the club, this could be a great year!
We hope to see a bunch of you at Martin Creek...

I am in Forney Bass Club, we will be out there at the same time as you guys. Do you allow people to fish in both tournaments?

I am in Forney Bass Club, we will be out there at the same time as you guys. Do you allow people to fish in both tournaments? We do not have a rule against fishing with another Club on the same day. Keep in mind that any angler fishing with 5 Alive must comply with ALL 5 Alive Bass Club rules. Check-in before the tournament, live-well check, 5 fish limit, present at the weigh-in site by 3:00, etc. Be sure to check the 5 Alive website at www.5alivebassclub.com and read the rules so you're aware. We're looking forward to a good time and hope you can join us...
