Well, I was fortunate enough to get quite a bit of fishing in during the week of Thanksgiving. I started the weekend off in Austin and ended up in Gilmer. With casts in Tarrant and Wood counties in between. I threw big Swimbaits the majority of the time and didn't get a ton of bites. But I learned a bunch about how to fish these baits that will benefit me moving forward. My best day for numbers was my last day in Austin, but no real good ones. I fished all day in the rain one day for 2 fish. But one was worth it to me. Here are some pics. Not all are fish, but that's part of it too in my opinion......

Nice glad to see someone had time to tear them up last week. I haven't been out in almost 3 weeks. Sweet pics...it's sad seeing the lakes so low

Biggest one was 24. Almost exactly 8 lbs. Almost as impressive is the couple of 12-14 inchers that jumped on a 10" wakebait. Very ambitious fish
