McMurry University Bass Club will be hosting its 3rd annual fundraiser tournament at Lake Ray Roberts November 15th. This is an open tournament and our main fundraiser. We have had it at Amistad and had a good turnout last two years but due to poor fishing recently and the at the request of many Alumni, we will be having it in the metroplex area at Ray Roberts.

This tournament is how we get to the Cabela�s Boat US National Bass Fishing tournament at Lake Pickwick in Alabama every year. We got national TV time last year and are looking to move up standings this year. It is an extremely expensive trip and since we are student funded, we rely on this tournament to help us get back!

� Date: November 15th
� Open tournament of two man teams per one boat and a five bass limit
� Entry fee of $100
� Optional Big Bass $20
� Practice ends Friday November the 14th at 6 PM (honor system)
� Registration: held at the Sanger Inn on Friday the 14th from 5:30-9 PM or Saturday morning 5-6 AM also at Sanger Inn
� Tournament starts at safe light Saturday morning the 15th (honor system) and ends at 3.
� ***MUST BE CHECKED BACK INTO JOHNSON BRANCH STATE PARK RAMP AT 3:30***
� Weigh-in begins at 3:30
� Trailering allowed but again must be checked in for weigh-in at Johnson ramp at 3:30
� Cash only
� Multiple raffle prizes
� Payout: determined on amount of anglers ex: 19 boats 1st $400 2nd $350 3rd 200
� There is a $7 dollar ramp entry fee

I am sorry to say we are postponing our tournament this weekend until the spring. The cold weather is affecting the number of boats that we are anticipating and it would not be a very successful tournament with the low numbers. We want to have a quality event and with the arctic cold front moving in this weekend, it isn't likely to happen. Thank you all who were planning on coming and we look forward to seeing ya'll in the spring! Please spread the word on the postponement.
