PERCH JERK TOURNAMENT 8:00 AM TO 12:00 PM
ENTRY PER TEAM (1 ADULT AND 1 CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 15) IS 25.00
This is a 50/50 tournament. 50% will be paid out to the winning anglers and 50% will go to the Friends of Purtis Creek for activities and need of Purtis Creek State Park.
PAYS: 1st PLACE 50% 2nd PLACE 30% 3rd PLACE 20%

ALL FISHING MUST BE DONE BY THE CHILD. NO ADULT FISHING. ADULT TEAM MEMBER IS TO HELP BAIT AND UNHOOK FISH.
FISHING WILL START AT 8:00 AM AND WEIGH IN IS AT 20:00 PM. YOU MUST BE IN THE WEIGH IN LINE BY 12:00 TO ENTER YOUR FISH. SAME DAY REGISTRATION IS FROM 6:00 AM UNTIL 9:00 AM

The weigh in for the Perch Jerk is 12:00 not 20:00

Report from PC today was that crappie were in from 8 to 15ft along the dam. Several limits have been caughtsince this weekend.

Weather looks fantastic for our tournament day. Would like to see some fishermen not worried about big prizes, but more interested in helping out our friends group and TPWD.

Reports I heard from Purtis this weekend is that the crappie bites were in 6 to 8ft and the brim bites were good off the docks.

Report from yesterday was that the crappie moved back to 20ft of water and were suspended at 8ft. They were being caught with jigs on the fall. Sorry don't know what kind of jigs.
