It is time for another open tournament. It will be launching out of Lake Palestine Resort again. Hours will be 5:30 am to 12:00 pm. $60 per boat ($50 for 5 fish stringer and $10 for BB). We will be at the ramp to sign teams up about 4:45 am. This is a "good old boys tournament", so only rules are below.

Cannot start fishing until 5:30 (can leave once signed up)
Trailering is allowed
Stop fishing at 12:00 (scales close at 12:30 sharp)
All fish must be 14 inches
short fish is a DQ

Payout
1-7 teams 1 place
8-14 teams 2 places
15-21 teams 3 places
22-28 teams 4 places
29-35 teams 5 places

If I need more than that I am in trouble but will figure it out. LOL

So far it appears I have a team other than myself posted they will fish. I hope that total improves soon. I will have this tournament no matter the turnout, but please come on out. let me know what you plan to do.

9 teams showed up and Mike Mays won again. Congrats to him again.

BB went to Lambert and Cagle with a 4.95 ($90)

1st was Mike with 13.47 ($340)
2nd was Terry and Waters ($110)
3rd was Lambert and Cagle ($0)

Thanks everyone that showed up. Next tournament will be on Lake Tyler. Most likely in 2 weeks, but I will post when I know for sure.

My appologies. I will not be running a tournament this weekend. A high school team needed a boat captain for this weekend so I volunteered to help them out. I also have a tournament next weekend. So my goal would be for 9-27, but it too far out to make plans. I will post when I know something.

9-27 is the Tyler Ford Open on Lake Tyler.

Thank for the heads up Fast Lane (I am fishing that one with NorCal). So with that I am unsure when I am open to run a tournament. I have a club tourny and 2 championships in October. This may mean I am done for the year running tournaments. If anything changes I will post.
