I have used just about all of my secret 7 bait and have yet to even get a bite on it. I have never used dip bait before so I thought I would try something new. It is simple to use just seems the old school baits seem to be better. I have tried fishing in three different spots that I know have fish. Reason I know this is because I caught fish on worms and minnows the same day I had the secret 7 out. I had it on two different poles and caught nothing not even a nibble. I even bought the furry things and their dip tubes. So I guess I will be sticking to the old proven ways of fishing. Hope everyone had a good weekend and has a safe work week.

You go man!! Old School is always good to me. I just don't use the live minnows and worms; but using those two SCENTS makes all the difference when it comes to presenting a artificial in it's most natural state.

Hmmm...that's interesting. I've been using secret 7 for a couple of years yet and I always catch fish on it. In fact, I was fishing with a neighbor a month or so ago. He was using live bait and me only secret 7. I probably caught 4-5 to his one. I limited out and he brought home 6 or 7. For some reason he refused to switch. If I'm not catching on secret 7 then the fish aren't there to be caught or just aren't feeding at that time.

Now I'm not in any way disputing that you aren't catching fish on it when other baits are working. Just posting the results I've had with it.

Some will say that if the fish are there, any Stinkbait will work. Not true. I keep a couple of different kinds with me and different days/weeks one will be better than others. For example in June sudden impact was really good, then Danny kings and CJ's's started doing better than it was.

Mostly channel yes but blues were caught also. Maybe just wasn't the right time I don't know. I am going to finish the container out and see.

I have been out fishing 2-3 times a week in the lower Guadalupe and July was terrible. River is down, current low and water hot. Only thing hitting any type of bait I have been using is Gar and turtles.

My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.

Long nose. I went down river last time and a kayaker came down river. Said up river he got into what he thought was a log jam with some huge logs. When he went to push off they swam off. Just my luck always in the wrong place at the right time.
