We are looking for participants, sponsors, and vendors for an upcoming event July 12th at Southern Junction. It will be an amazing and unique Catfish Tournament and Fish Fry and we want Rockwall County to represent proudly! The event itself will be Saturday July 12th 12:00-6:00pm at Southern Junction while the Tourney starts at 6:00pm on July 10th with final weigh-in and awards at 6:00pm on July 12th. There will be activities for the kids and a large tank for everyone to see the massive catfish brought in from all over the area. It is a "Fish By Any Legal Means" Tournament as we want to included Rod & Reel, Handfishing, etc. There will also be a Children's Division as well! Big Gus Samuelson with 95.3 The Range KHYI, Southern Junction, and the Bare Knuckle Babes are hosting and it will be loads of fun! A portion of proceeds will support the Trinity River Audubon Center http://trinityriver.audubon.org Prizes for BIG FISH will be 1st $5000, 2nd $3000, and 3rd $1000. Under 18 will be 1st $500, 2nd $300, and 3rd $100.
