We are holding an open team tournament to benefit the new Athens High School Fishing Team. It will be held July 12th on Lake Athens in Athens, Tx. It will he hosted by Team Trails Outdoors and should be a well run event. $130 / team will pay 1 place for every 5 entries. $10. Does the Athens Fishing Team need donations of fishing gear ?
Are any of the kids wanting to fish in need of lures, boxes, rods/reels ?
How does a boat captain thing work ?

We are still trying to figure out what we really need. I know for sure that some of my guys will need tournament quality reels. We have a deal with TFO that will allow us to get quality rods at a good deal but reels are harder to come by. Baits are also a concern we have sponsors to help defray that cost but any help will be appreciated.
The boat captains are all volunteers that operate the big engine and offer coaching to the anglers. They also have to have a background check and adequate insurance. I would be glad to give you all the specifics. PM and I'll give you my number.
