What type of clothes do y'all wear during the summer? Something like the UA heat gear? I really would like to keep the cost somewhat reasonable so name brand stuff isn't required.

Columbia pfg and Cabelas brand fishing apparel. Academy brand is inexpensive and good to though.

I wear a hat, buff, long sleeve UA shirt, shorts and crocs. I lather my hands and legs below my shorts really well every couple of hours.

Columbia long sleeve shirt and a pair of Columbia zip off to shorts pants. A big ole hat with a buff and drainmakers for shoes. Oakley polarized fishing glasses and plenty of sunscreen. If you see me out there in a yellow jacket cuda, come over and say hi!

Columbia\UA shirt, UA zip off pants and a Buff or Columbia\Omni freeze gaitor and Teva Shoes. I am also experimenting with wearing a T shirt and wearing arm sleeves from wrist to bicep and wearing gloves.

I had some pre-cancers removed last year so not to preach safety but since then I started keeping covered from head to toe. It feels cooler when you do that rather than just having a tee shirt and shorts. I'm a bargan shopper so I would say get what is in your price range and what is comfortable.
Magellan from Academy you can find some good deals on. If I don't look down and see the label I can't tell the difference between them and my Colombia.

I spend about 250 days a year on the water.
I like the Columbia PFG Omni Freezer Zero long sleeve @ $30.00 - blocks sun and pulls sweat off so you stay cooler.
I wear a ball cap and a Buff face cover all day every day. People used to point and laugh, but now there are many people wearing them. You can avoid sunscreen on your face and in your eyes and keeps bugs off too. @$15.00
I like to wear Columbia Airgill pants that work like the shirts. I can't stand to have the tops of my legs burnt!! @ $45.00

that hat is nice IMO. mostly fish open water & im not light skinned. i choose to cover up. i know it sounds & may look like it would be hot but its actually cooler than letting the sun hit your skin. it will also prevent skin cancer and leathering. Long sleeves and breathable pants for me in the summer i also like polarized sunglasses. The only part of my body that gets sun BLOCK is my ears feet and fingers if im not wearing gloves.

I prefer to wear long sleeve, cotton fishing shirts during the summer. To me it's more comfortable than the performance gear. I wear Columbia convertible fishing pants, kayaking shoes, a hat, and buff.

I wear the academy brand (bg something) performance stuff.....shirts and pants. If not the pants I'll wear shorts with soccer socks . Crocs on my feet. I'll agree I don't dress to impress.

I wear these. Brand is All-American Fisherman. 100% quick dry nylon, Velcro closures, breathable back. I can get them for around 7.00 and 10.00 if enough of you guys are interested.
