I grew up catfishing and now picking up on bass fishing. Can some suggest a post or online to learn best tackle to use?

Keep in mind that different lures/plastics/colors and presentations will be more successful depending on the season and depth fishing.

Here's a good video for spring time

Isn't the fishing in the 'North', much different than fishing here in Texas ?
i.e., the tackle would be much different isn't it?
I see some of the hard baits we use here in the second video but, again, aren't are conditions/water color (clarity) and temps much different?

Just buy two of everything...... that's what we do......

Seriously..... cover the water column..... top, shallow, mid, deep......you could do that with buzz baits, spinner baits, shallow crank baits, mid crank baits, deep crank baits, jigs, and soft plastics........you don't need 1000$ tackle and 600$ rods and reels........

fish

Usually, yes, but not last year and this year so far. If we have cold springs, we can learn a lot from the northern tactics.
