If there are 2 of you, You NEED TO FISH with The 2 of Us Couples!!!!! We are going to fish solely on Lake Fork. Our first tournament is coming on February 22, 2014. Our tournaments are monthly Feb thru July on Saturdays. If you are "old hands" or "Newbies", we welcome you all. We love fishing together and meeting new couples with the same interests! Our membership fee is $30.00. Tournament fee is $90.00 if received prior to Monday (week of tourny)or $100.00 at the ramp. Mark, Elizabeth and I are going to fish this trail as long as we can find a babysitter. Babysitters that work fishermen's hours are hard to come by.

We will be registering at Oakridge Restaurant from 6-8 pm Friday evening, (Feb 21). Also beginning Saturday.... registration and livewell checks at 6:00am at Oakridge. We will start at safelight, last cast is 3:00 pm, in line with fish no later than 3:30pm.

I think my wife and I will join The 2 of Us & fish this Lake Fork Region. It has been 30 years since we fished in a Her & Him tournament, but she did rather well on Lake Fork back in it's hey day. It is the only time I have ever said OMG while on the water ...... in a tournament where the woman had to do the boat driving, I looked over and she was doing 70mph down a Lake Fork boat lane on a 12" pad of the boat.
WOW !!!! what a ride. Sounds like this will be fun.
