Please remember to wear your life jackets. My fishing partner went into the drink on Sunday at Lake Lewisville. I usually don't make people wear them cause I figure its their choice. Big Mistake, My boat will be "MANDATORY PFD" from know on.

If you fish solo, might want to seriously consider installing an emergency boarding ladder (EBL) on your lake ride. Help get you outta the cold H2O and back in the boat a lot faster.
Couple of mfg. names include Twist Step & E-Ladder.

And if you already have a boarding ladder on the boat and have installed power poles or talons, check to ensure that it will still deploy. Did a dry run this summer and discovered that my ladder hit the pole and would not drop down. Had to change the brackets.
