Fishing a pond around my neck of the woods at this time of the year means throwing a frog or weightless worm.

Spinnerbais are good all aroound and to cover water quickly and weighless senkos are good also. I fished a golf course pond last October and caught 27 all on the same spinnerbaot. only about 5 were under 2 pounds and the biggest went just over 6

You can try a crankbait, but frogs, pop-r s, topwaters and worms are going to start being what I'm throwing.
