Well the cold front did effect the bite a little. At first light we started in 14 foot fishing with my old go to bait, chicken livers. The bite was almost non existence. So we moved to 20 feet and bingo!
We dropped all the way to the bottom as came up about 2 feet. Better not set your pole down either. The bigger ones were slamming it!! We caught several in the 2lb range with biggest being 6
We had 54 over all and about froze to death early on but as the sun came up the bite heated up as well!
