We welcome all Friday Sept. 27th from 4pm til dark to Canyon Lake Marina and Baja BBQ Shack to come take a free demo ride in a brand new Skeeter bass boat provided by Boerne Marine. Come see first hand what these boats can do!

We'll be gathering at Baja BBQ Shack during this time for dinner and drinks as well as early registration and welcome all regardless if you are fishing to come out and join us. We'll be there all night!

Anyone who takes a demo ride will receive some free Skeeter gear, additionally you will be entered into a drawing for a very nice Skeeter Limited Edition Kistler rod.

We'll be gathered on the patio at Baja BBQ Shack and will hold the drawing while partaking in some great food, good stories, and cold beverages and most likely we'll end up shutting the place down.
Come on by regardless if you are entering the Canyon Thursday Nighter Championship tourney.

Lodging is available close by and all around the lake. If there is enough interest I can see about reserving a lodge that has several cabins.

For those planning to attend the Demo rides and early registration, as well as the pre-tournament celebration at Baja BBQ Shack there are still a few rooms available at the Bunk Haus for Friday night.

Remember, you dont have to fish the tourney or have fished any tourney for that matter to come on out and take a demo ride in a new Skeeter and get yourself some free Skeeter apparel as well as be entered in a drawing to win a Kistler rod.

If you'd like some info about fishing Canyon, this would also be a good time to come out and meet some of these guys that fish it and pick their brains a bit. Everyone has been forthcoming with info during these events as they are a bunch of great and friendly guys.

Thanks big lunker I'm glad the river bite came back I would like to thank you and the deuce for helping me prefish and finding them in the river again . And 0311 didn't do bad he had the magic bait and two of the five keepers were his we managed to get lucky and cull a few times . And thanks to Shawn and brad for putting on a good event.

Not all places in the river are good spots, but now you know my honey holes. Lots of big bass have come out of those places, and it took me years fishing Canyon Lake to find them all. Again, congradulations, and at the same time your welcome.

Congrats fellas. That was a pretty solid field of anglers out there.
