welcome "TexasWolf" to the Texas Fishing Forum. Glad to have you on board. fish There are a lot of places in and around San Antonio to Catch Rios. As for inside San Antonio the San Antonio River off of Mulberry Street is a good spot. Also the Leon Creek by Wolf Stadium is good. The Salado has em also but the best spot by Ft. Sam has dried up due to the well being shut off because of stage 3 water restrictions. nuts The Salado by Rigsby is still holding good water along with Comanche Park. Good luck and let us know how you do! cheers

Don't forget the Cibolo Creek on the Northeast side. I have caught some nice Rios there this summer. Also the San Antonio River by Espada Park is good. Fished it last year.

It's sea world. I think a person could sneak a hook and line in and do some hand fishing. Doubt many would care if you hooked a few. As long as you released them.
