I'm planning on doing some fishing this weekend in Galveston but its first my time doing saltwater. Is there anyone that can give me any tips or pass on any hot spots, I will not abuse your hot spots I rarely visit galveston. Lol I will be mostly fishing on shore, jetties or piers. Thank you for your time.

Hey man, lots of great areas in Galveston to fish, and you wont be hard pressed. Seawolf park like previously stated, roll over pass is always great. I usually fish the other end, and may even go this weekend as well. I like to fish down by san luis pass, or even further on to the surfside side.

Happy fishing!
