Ok so I'm gonna start a debate on this. I want to hear your thoughts and opinions on it. I own the spin cast combo and seem to like is so far. I ain't had it long but the rod seems strong as an ox. For those of you who don't know what it is, it's cabelas version of the ugly stick. It comes as a single rod or a combo package. There is a spin cast and a bait cast package. Every review I've read has been good on the rod. But not so much on the bait cast reel. That's why I didn't buy the bait cast. The spin cast reel I haven't read any complaints on. And so far I have non as well. Just let me y'all experience with them

Btw the spin cast reel has a 5.1:1 bearing ratio
