Just signed up for this forum today. I live on Galveston island and lost my boat during the hurricane so I have been without one for a while . Just purchased a Carolina Skiff slightly used 2002 19ft with a two year old Suzuki 60hp 4 stroke for a good deal. Will this 60 supply me enough power to comfortably cruise around the bay. Mainly in between Jamaica beach and the pass?
Thanks y'all and I apologize if I am posting this on the wrong forum, ha.

Yeah man for sure! Awesome boat and those motors are great! Just enough power to get cruising on a solid plane with up to probably 4 people. Very fuel efficient as well! Hope you enjoy the new purchase. Great boat for the flats as well.

You bet. A 70 HP can push a 24 ft CS no problem.
