tried one at the store today liked it but want some other opinions on it.
tried the sage one and hardy 8s too
anyone have anything bad to say about it

not a thing, great casting rod. I would have one myself, but for the fact that they do not offer blanks, only completed rods
I am a part time custom rod builder, Rods By Chris. I specialize in fly rods, but just down right enjoy building custom fishing rods. I see each as a piece of art. rodsbychris@gmail.com

Cast the 6 and 7 recently. Liked both of then just fine! Very nice rods.

If you're going to the top shelf, have a look at the Winston B3 SX. The Winston ads aren't as sexy as everyone else's, but there's some good juju in that boron stuff.

There's also the Loomis NRX Saltwater, which is supposed to be a heck of a rod.
