The 2013 Texas TBF Federation State Qualifier will be held on June 8 at Eagle Mountain at West Bay Marina. There will be a mandatory Friday night meeting at 6:30 at the marina. The top angler in 11-14 range and 15-18 will advance to the TBF Junior National Championship in August in Shreveport.
They will be fishing for college scholarships as well as a lot of sponsor products. They will also be fishing with FLW Pro's.
You can mail your entry forms in or you can bring them to the Friday night meeting.

I think there is a member fee good for the year and the tournament is $60

The Annual Dues for membership is $20 per year and the entry fee for the tournament will be $40 and both will be due at the Friday night meeting

Is this membership separate from the TBF student angler federation?

I am thinking the Student Anglers may have already paid the $20 membership. If that is the case then they will just pay $40.

Is this open to any kids?

It is open to all youth ages 11 to 18. There will be a mandatory meeting on Friday night where each contestant will be assigned to a boat. There will be 2 youth per boat. Each will have control of the boat for 1/2 of the time. The youth will not be allowed to fish with their parents or brothers, etc.
Just show up for the meeting on Friday night with the dues and entry fee.
Also may need additional volunteer boaters.

Student angler federation is separate and total cost for this tournament will be $60.00 for all participants.
