Fished this morning with Creek Meister Rudy Martinez. Better known as "Rudy".
The fish are so thick in there that I figure if you were keeping fish it might take 30 casts to get a limit.
If you could average 1 cast, retrieve , unhook and stringer , per minute that would take 30 minutes. You could save time by stringing them after you got your limit. Use a single hook set up would be quicker a treble hook.
Oh well , just wondering - point is they were thick today even more so than yesterday.

I finally had to leave for work - left Rudy as he was pulling in another one. Great fishing - creek is full of fish.

Nice, should of told the repair guys to come to my house another day... Should of skip work too...

You're genius Mr. Peck! Here's how great fisherman should talk to another great fisherman... Respectful, humorous, good nature,... but if I'm not mistaken, Mr Peck is simply saying "what the heck are you doing Rudy?" LOL
Have you ever consider writing a book "about fishing", Mr. Peck? You definitely have all the right stuff, it would fun to read your book...

Fishin_Ren_lol - just having fun - Rudy and I are best of friends.
I have to leave for work and he's probably on #327 or some ridiculous number.
BTW - I left him my pliers. I bet he won't leave home without a pair again!

I know y'all are good friends, even if I didn't, just from reading this post, reasonable mind would conclude that y'all are good friends! To me, those three pics of Rudy and your captions says more than just the pliers and single hook, it captures the fun and friendship aspects of fishing... Thank you and Rudy for sharing this good laughter and for showing that fishing is still FUN...

When they that thick just mash down the barb on the hook and get after them. It's the best method of attack.

Yeah Peck highly recommended i do that, but Ole Rock Head here just kept on his merry way! Seriously, We caught the mother lode of sandies today! I probably caught 8-10 Limits of sandies, kept one, and gave it to a friend and his daughter, who, when i ran into them, were fishless!

I went two bends farther upstream from where robert and i fished and hit the MOTHER LODE OF MAGNUMS!! MANY OF THE FAT FEMALES!!

Robert and I had a grand ole time out there today, and on the way out, MET LEE AND ANDY of the TFF.

If only Jack and Carey had been there!

Robert, fishing the riffles in a sharp bend. Water less than a ft deep, and he just massacred 'em there! BIGUNS!


Beautiful, clear rushing water, resembles a trout stream, and choked with fish!

Rudy, nice stringer there... Only thing I can think of all morning is, why didn't I call in sick!!!

Talk to carey this morning, he was catching mags at rc then went off to the lake and catching crappie

Was nice meeting you today Rudy. I tried the same spot in the picture with Jig and bobber but wasn't too productive. So I switch to a white rooster tail and it was fish on every other cast.

Tried the new hole up with jig and bobber and it was game on. However, most of the ones we caught at the two holes were mostly males. We only caught 6-7 females.

We probably stay there for a little over an hour before JT got to head home, so I help him carry some of his gear while he haul his limit. LOL Glad my stringer makes a clicking noise instead.

All in all, an awesome day to be out creek fishing.
