May 11 th at Lake Palestine Resort Entry Fee $200.00 per Team-80% Payback · Big Stringer and Big Fish money pots
· 5 Fish limit
· 4 Man teams
· Fishing in Texas boundaries only
· Weigh in at 6:00pm at Lake Palestine Resort and The Lake Grill
Fishing starts at 6:00pm Friday till 6:00pm Saturday. $200.00 entry fees must be in at 11:00am on Friday. If paying with Debit Card on Monday May 6 th by 11:00am. “Come join the fun as the teams battle it out!
Spectators welcome to fish fry and weigh in."
Lake Palestine Resort Fish Fry is at 5pm on Saturday

New to texas.. active duty military and I'm looking where some good noodling area lakes are for noodling near the ft hood area? Any advice on wherw to look... I don't have a boat so will be having to drive to fishing spots... any typenof help would be amazing and greatly appericated!!!

Who all is planning to fish?
When and if they do get my guns...they will most definitely be hot and empty.  Vera's PB=45.17 Jasons PB=76.94

Well the water was cold(might be the understatement of the year) but we caught fish.
Team Roughnecks had first place with 5 fish 147.29 lbs
Team Noonday noodlers had second with 140.38 and big fish 49.07
Team Yella bellies had 2 fish 68.34
We had 4th with 1 fish 33.16
Team Poynor noodlers had 1 fish 16.47
Had a good time and a good turnout of spectators. Thanks to the folks that came to the wiegh in and to the biologists and wardens for doing there part while the tournament was going on. We had all the hand fisherman fill out surveys for the TPWD study. We also put on a demo for them to let them understand more of how we do it. The wardens did there part by weeding out the bad apples. Had a chance to meet alot of the guys that are out there taking care of the fisheries, and they all seemed like standup fellas. See you guys next year.

Just now saw these results I was curious on how it went.Was it a good turnout Jason ? Way to go team roughnecks on the impressive stringer early in the season.

We only had 7 teams. alot of teams backed out when the water temp didn't come up.
