Lunker Hunters hosts our weekly sunday morning open on Canyon Lake this Sunday Morning from 6:30am to 12:30pm.
When: March 17th Where: Canyon Lake (little Jacobs creek launch) Entry: $30/team Tourney hours: 6:30am - 12:30pm
DETAILS Registration is from 6:00am to 6:30am at the launch. Shotgun start at 6:30am or safe light whichever comes first. 5 fish stringer. Jackpot tournament will pay first place and big fish. Cash Only Please.

Lake is fishing good. With the good weather were gonna have all weekend there will be some weight brought to the scales.

No Jacobs is on the north end of the lake near the army and Air Force recreation area

Anyone but riverdogbone. Last week he fell out of his boat trying to net his partners fish. He has a good system he is the net man and his partner is the catch man. By the way stop following me around the lake.

Yeah 15.14 was big stringer b.b. was 4 # we caught lots of fish quit fishing with an hour left we felt good about our weight I would like to thank my partner mike kiolbasa aka canyon lake legend lol. He's been fishing that lake for 30 years taught me what I know about that lake got a tourney there April 21 it will be a different bite but get your popcorn ready .and thanks reel fisherman .

Yeah I was running the boat out there the other day when this local showed up with about seven cedar trees tied together with concrete weight attached. I stopped and talked to the guy and informed him that dropping those was against the law without the corps permission. Dude was like cool. Backed his boat off and took off. I said that to say his, that is a huge difference and can make a difference in a matter of days on holding fish, so local guys have a advantage.
