In addition to what Brian has mentioned above you might want to go to Academy and buy the Hook-N-Line map for the Texas Middle Coast.
I have the one for the lower coast and it starts at about Matagorda. These maps have the GPS numbers for most structure off our coast and like any publication some will still be there where they say they are and some won't.
I have compared GPS numbers between the map and the book mentioned above and found them to be very similar.

do any of yall use the Navionics Gold maps for your gps? Just wondering how accurate are the GPS locations?

not a lot of offshore spots on Navionics, most are high-pressure areas. Like I said, Rik's stuff, or Tom Hilton's offshore atlas are probably your best bets for reliable, catchy #'s as Bobby mentioned, those hook-n-line maps are really good too, but it's in map form, intead of book form.
